With no indoor restaurant dining in NYC, this could be THE thing to own to wear to outdoor dining. Selk you better get the production going.
I’ve only had the Selk bag for a couple of days, but this is easily the coziest thing I’ve ever worn in my life. Our winters in Georgia may not last long, but this is gonna be perfect for keeping the temps down as we’re all moving back into lockdown. And I love every inch of this from my head down to my toes. The hand covers (or as I’ve been referring to them, the flippers) are perfect for when you just want to crash and you don’t have to do anything. The fill on this is great, even in join spots like the knees and waist, the fill doesn’t shift. And probably my favorite part of this human-shaped cocoon has to be the hood. It’s big, cinches down with no hassle, very puffy, and incredibly warm (and let’s not kid ourselves, all cozy products should have a great good). I’m really happy with this purchase and hope that you guys can continue to grow so more people can get something like this. In the meantime though, I’m gonna zip this sucker up and take a comfy nap on the couch.
I just got this the other day, and I think it easily wins for the coziest thing I’ve ever worn in my whole life. I love the fluffiness across the entire suit, it’s really like a nice hug. The hand covers are perfect for bed or even just chilling on the couch at the end of the day and you just want to put your hands into these flippers and not need them. I think the best part of this though is the hood. It’s puffy, cinches down without a hassle, and It just keeps you warm even when it’s down (and lets not kid ourselves, any cozy piece of clothing should have a great hood). The Selk bag may look ridiculous, but the absurdity can’t compare to just how wonderful this full body cocoon really is. Honestly, even wearing it right now makes me want to just conk out for an hour. Happy to support a small business and hope you guys can continue to grow with this wonderful product that’s going to save a lot in heating bills in a short Georgia winter.
I’m really enjoying it so far. I haven’t worn it outside yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Only one thing I would change. I’m 5’7” and I weigh about a 150lbs. With the feet zipped on I feel like its too small. I can’t extend my legs comfortably. It fits like a shoe that’s a half size too small. By the size chart, this should be my size. The next one I buy will be an XL. I hope I’m not making a mistake.
I wish I knew. FedEx lost my package.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer. All Selk'bag models are unisex, meaning that is suitable for men and women.
The size you need will depend on the activity you'll use it for the most : to sleep, be active, both, or any other thing you may think of. To help you choose we’ve put together a Fitting Guide with comprehensive information.
In case you still unsure which size to choose, please contact us anytime and we'll be glad to help!
If you are between 5'3'' and 5'9'' this is your size. It can fit up to 5'11'' if you intend to use it while active, without booties.
Realtree models only
* Please keep in mind that our Original 6G model, due to a higher insulation loft (contains more padding insulation than the Lite 6G) makes it more snug, so we recommend to size up if you are 1'' to 3'' below the in between size range (i.e if you are getting the Original 6G and you are 5'9'' we recommend getting an XL)
In-between sizes?
A looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are in between sizes or not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
