Your November Watchlist

We hope you got to check out our binge list from October! I hid under the hoodie of my Selk’bag for the majority of The Witch, beyond spooked. And the Sabrina reboot was a personal favorite, bringing back memories from the Melissa Joan Hart era. But now that it’s November, it’s time to move on from the creepy and onto the heart-warming. Here is our top five for this Thanksgiving season.

What to watch: Bohemian Rhapsody
Where to watch: In Theaters (available now)
Why watch it: The long awaited Queen movie is finally here, and we could not be more stoked. I may be a bit biased, seeing as Queen and Freddie Mercury sit among my all time favorite entertainers, but everyone should appreciate the unparalleled talent of Freddie and his mates. The songs will give you the shivers, and Rami Malek’s portrayal of frontman Freddie deserves an award. Even his bandmates tipped their hats to his performance, which speaks volumes. Forget the mediocre critic ratings for this film, and do yourself a favor by heading to the theaters asap to get a taste of the magic of Queen.
Rotten Tomatoes: 60%

What to watch: Sing
Where to watch: Netflix (available now)
Why watch: Silliness and smiles will fill the screen and your living room with this (semi) recent family flick. From the studio that has brought you Despicable Me, The Lorax, and soon The Grinch, is another wonderful animated film with lovable animal characters and lots of laughs. It’s a great film for you and the kids to sit back, relax, and sing along.
Rotten Tomatoes: 72%

What to watch: Good Will Hunting
Where to watch: Netflix (available now)
Why watch: We’ve probably all seen this movie a thousand times, but there’s something behind the turning of the seasons in November that makes us all want to sit down and take in the magic once again. It’s the movie that always makes you cry. But more so, the movie that makes you appreciate life and those that help you live it.
Rotten Tomatoes: 97%

What to watch: The Great British Baking Show
Where to watch: Netflix (available now)
Why watch: The heap of popular cooking shows out there are surprisingly cut-throat, and frankly, can be a bit mean. Unsurprisingly, we all watch because we love the competition and can’t wait to see who gets chopped, not because we love cooking. But The Great British Baking Show from across the pond could not be more different. And we absolutely love it for that. Everyone on the show is shockingly kind. Is there any better time than now to treat yourself to happy people cooking happy things? We hope this show will inspire you to bring out your rolling pins and bake your family and friends something sweet, just like the contestants.
Rotten Tomatoes: 98%

What to watch: Best in Show
Where to watch: Amazon (available now)
Why watch: This quirky mockumentary set as a “behind the scenes” look at a dog show is comedy gold. The characters are as diverse as their dogs and brilliantly portrayed by a super talented cast. You’ll barely be able to get down your pumpkin pie as they vie for the Mayflower Kennel Club title.
Rotten Tomatoes: 94%

BONUS! A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Where to Watch: Amazon (available now)
Why watch: For those of you who haven’t seen this, shame on you. Go watch this immediately and warm your soul. If you’ve already seen this, cap off your Thanksgiving and transition to the holidays with this beloved classic.
Rotten Tomatoes: N/A

Size Chart

Kids (Ages 7+)

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.

A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child.  A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.

Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight.  For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

Kids Medium:
Minimum Height: 4'0"  / 122 cm
Maximum Height: 4'6" / 137 cm

Kids Large: *
Minimum Height: 4'6"    / 137 cm
Maximum Height: 4'11" / 150 cm

* Please note, Kids size Large is significantly less wide than the Adult size Small.  An adult that measures between 4'6" and 4'11" should use the Adult Small over Kids Large.

In-between sizes?  Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph.  Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.

We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
