Exploring and seeing new destinations is always what comes to mind when people mention traveling. However, many like to gloss over the long lines at TSA or the time spent waiting for boarding or the fight for carry-on space in the overhead compartment. If you fly domestic often, then this is the perfect time to nail the art of the carry-on. Follow these tips and you’ll spend less time looking for extra space and more time relaxing until take-off.
If you have to go through TSA, then you’ll most likely have to take off your Selk’bag before going through the metal detectors. But that’s not really a big deal. Simply wear a t-shirt and light sweats or leggings underneath your Selk’bag so that you don’t accidentally flash the entire airport. Slip the Selk’bag off, then slip it back on after the security checkpoint.
Airplanes usually mirror an icebox. In the rare chance that they are warm, it feels as though are sitting around camp fire with a few whiffs of body odor, perfumes, and other strong smells thrown in. In order to stay comfy, open up those vents on your Selk’bag and remove the hands. This will keep you from becoming a melted marshmallow.
Once you get to your destination, take off your Selk’bag and give it a wash. This is your way of saying thank you. The Selk’bag spent the last few hours keeping your warm and comfortable so the least you can do is keep it clean and have it ready for your next flight.

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child. A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.
Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight. For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

In-between sizes? Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph. Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
Please mind that our Original 6G model due to highest loft of insulation (contains more padding insulation that Lite 6G) makes it more snug, so we recommend to size up if you are 1'' to 3'' below the in between size range (i.e if you are getting the Original 6G and you are 5'9'' we recommend getting an XL)
If you are between 5'5'' and 5'11'' this is your size. It can fit up to 6'1'' if you intend to use it without booties
Realtree models only
