Have you ever seen the face of a kid after their first day of “real” school? Not the kind of school where they take naps, go home early and play freeze tag all day, but the other kind. The one that feels like a full day of actual work. The one where they learn arithmetic, take spelling tests, read their favorite books and more. Yeah, that one! Kids usually look like they’ve just finished working an 80-hour week! So, what do kids do when they get home? Nap! You can catch kids napping in between chicken nugget bites, watching T.V. and standing up. As an adult, unless you’ve just climbed Mt. Everest, sleeping does not come as easily. So, we’ve spent some time (a few minutes) studying the napping habits of kids and came up with the perfect formula. Once you are done reading our sweet and simple guide to napping you'll want to whip out your Selk'bag and sleep! Read this guide, get some sleep, and thank us later.
Some people can sleep like a baby when the thermostat is set to below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Well, we call those people demigods and this guide isn’t meant for them! For the mere mortals still reading this, we need warmth! You shouldn’t run your hands along your arms and feel goosebumps. You know the padding that lines your rooms and clothes? Insulation! Yeah, well, it’s amazing for keeping warm. We usually just grab our Selk’bag, zip it up, and wear it around our office, home, and school.
Have you ever sat on a crowded bus or train after a long day? Chances are that you’re squished between two people and have to dodge incoming bags and backpacks every few minutes as people board and leave. Or maybe you’ve been at school all day and want to lay your head on your desk? But, crouching over hurts your back and slouching hurts your neck. for occasional is the exact moment that a pillow comes in handy. You see those small pillows that people always take with them on an airplane? Well, we don’t have one. But, we usually zip up our Selk’bag to create the same effect.
Basically, kids have it easy and we wish we could be a kid again. Until that magically happens, we’ll have to settle for occasional naps.

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child. A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.
Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight. For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

In-between sizes? Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph. Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
Please mind that our Original 6G model due to highest loft of insulation (contains more padding insulation that Lite 6G) makes it more snug, so we recommend to size up if you are 1'' to 3'' below the in between size range (i.e if you are getting the Original 6G and you are 5'9'' we recommend getting an XL)
If you are between 5'5'' and 5'11'' this is your size. It can fit up to 6'1'' if you intend to use it without booties
Realtree models only
