Earth Day was not just this past Monday...it’s every day. No matter your background, ethnicity, religion, or gender, we’re all human. Even if we didn’t have just this one planet to live on, it’s our duty as self-aware, sentient beings to do everything we can to take care of it. We know many of you reading this love nature and respect it, along with the other animals who live on this rock with us.
We also know it may be hard to feel like you’re making an impact on a day-to-day basis, so we’re here to remind you of the choices you come across on a daily-basis that will help protect, and respect, this wonderful world.
We recently learned that more than 80% of the creatures in the deepest trenches of our oceans eat plastic. Plastic has officially reached every crevice of our world, and if this doesn’t terrify you and encourage you to change your single-use plastic ways, maybe the day they find plastic in you will.
Daily impact for change:
Red Meat Treat
Livestock accounts for nearly 15% of our total man-made carbon emissions. Most all of this is from cows. Our nation’s and world’s fixation on red meat is killing our planet, but there’s a pretty simple solution.
Daily impact for change: We don’t expect you to completely give up red meat upon reading this, but instead of eating it a few times a week, or even multiple times a week, cut it down to once a week. Make it a treat. Not only will your body feel better, but so will your earth.
There’s no real enigma here. Energy and how we use it is pretty straightforward. Where it becomes more complicated is not in what needs to be done for more sustainable and renewable energy, but in how we get there.
Daily impact for change: Besides purchasing hybrid and electric cars and installing solar panels on your house, you can make an impact by voting for people who want to protect the environment and invest in renewable energy. Our world gives us the renewable energy we need, so let’s accept this gift.
Conservation and protection efforts are more important now than ever. We need our forest and plants in order to absorb the carbon we’re pumping into the atmosphere. And we need our animals and food chains to hold up these ecosystems and allow them to thrive.Daily impact for change: Find organizations you care about and donate if you’re able. If you can’t, share information and have discussions with your family and friends to help spread awareness. It’s easy to forget about nature when you’re in the city, but nature never forgets.

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child. A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.
Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight. For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

In-between sizes? Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph. Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
If you are between 5'5'' and 5'11'' this is your size. It can fit up to 6'1'' if you intend to use it without booties
