Running is usually really good for you since it helps to strengthen your cardiovascular system. However, just because something is good does not mean its’ fun to do. While running feels more like biting into a slice of stale wheat bread, we’ve come to appreciate it for its benefits. We’ve also come up with a few tips that make it feel fun.
There aren’t too many fun ways to run. Trust us, we’ve tested a number of different options. Wearing a Selk’bag is by far one of the best. If you have a treadmill in the comfort of your own home, then this is easy. If you typically run outdoors, then you can still do it without any issues. Just make sure to open the vents in your Selkbag before going out for a run.
Friends can make anything fun and this is especially true for running. However, if your friend is a 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist in Marathon running, then keeping up may not seem fun and may feel more like a chore. SO be mindful of what friends you invite. If you haven’t run in years, then maybe get someone on your level. Or if you love a challenge, then ask the friend that runs 5 miles every morning!
If you have even an ounce of competitiveness running through your veins (see what we did there!), then you’ll want to time yourself. This gives you something to work towards every morning. If you can beat your time by a bit, then this does a lot for your self-esteem, happiness, and health when running. If you are just starting out, then keeping track of your 15 minute mile may feel a little discouraging; however, this serves as motivation.

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child. A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.
Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight. For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

In-between sizes? Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph. Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
If you are between 5'5'' and 5'11'' this is your size. It can fit up to 6'1'' if you intend to use it without booties
