Comfort is something that weaves its way into every aspect of your everyday life. There is a reason why there is comfort food, comfort inns, and comfort. While there are a select few that love the feel discomfort like waking up at 4 o’clock in the morning or going swimming in ice cold water in the dead of winter, most of us love feeling comfortable. Are any of you addicted to comfort by any chance? If you answered yes, then we are in full agreement with you. Since we love the feeling that comfort provides, our Selk’bag is basically attached at the hip. Here are a few reasons why you may need to attach one to your hip too.
There is no better feeling than feeling toasty when it is chilly or even remotely cold outside. Have you ever slept in a room that was incredibly drafty? Any kind of small breeze would make your bones rattle. Well, those rooms lacked insulation. This is something that you won’t be without when wearing a Selk’bag. No chilly breezes. No drips during rainy weather.
Large jackets can be pretty nice for adding a layer of comfort. However, they aren’t really functional. Have your very tried sitting at a desk or at a table wearing a large raincoat or snow jacket? That’s probably the extent of your activity since it’s so hard to move or maneuver without you removing the jacket. Between the Lite style and the Original Selk’bag you can maneuver and easily move around whether you are lying on the coach or camping in your car.
Why so serious? Life is meant to be a tad bit fun. Who said that feeling comfortable has to be so boring. Forget the blankets or that old school heater that your mom wants you to keep for “sentimental” value. Bring out your Selk’bag and zip it up to take comfort with you anywhere. We really mean anywhere!

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child. A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.
Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight. For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

In-between sizes? Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph. Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
Please mind that our Original 6G model due to highest loft of insulation (contains more padding insulation that Lite 6G) makes it more snug, so we recommend to size up if you are 1'' to 3'' below the in between size range (i.e if you are getting the Original 6G and you are 5'9'' we recommend getting an XL)
If you are between 5'5'' and 5'11'' this is your size. It can fit up to 6'1'' if you intend to use it without booties
Realtree models only
