What is summer vacation without a family road trip? That kind of summer does not exist. If you have kids or are planning any kind of family/friend reunion, then this means a road trip is probably involved. For some, road trips mean hours trapped in a car listening to Radio Disney, hearing a year’s worth of co-worker stories or just feeling cramped and uncomfortable. For others, this is pure FUN! Regardless of where you fall on this spectrum, we’ve got a complete guide for enjoying your family road trip this summer.
The easiest path to disappointment is setting unreal or high expectations. If you are hoping to relive some car commercial or get amazing pics for your social media feed, then lower expectations. This means that you will be super happy when the trip exceeds your expectations even when this is only by a margin.
Even if you can talk for hours no stop, there is a chance that most people will not be able to keep up. Make sure that you have a way to entertain yourself. Make a road trip playlist, then make another because you will most likely get tired of those songs before the trip is up. Also, bring games that you can play while in the car and outside when you make pit stops. Card games can be pretty fun if played with the right people (no sore losers).
Leave the work clothes and nice shoes at home. Grab your Selk’bag and throw it on when things start to get chilly during late-night drives. You’ll thank us later! You don’t want to be the person cramping up after only a few hours in the driver’s seat. Keeping snacks and water nearby will also help to make the drive more comfortable and enjoyable.
Spend time with your family and enjoy their company. Don’t think too much…just have fun!

Please note, Selk'bag Kids models are intended for children ages 7 years and older.
A proper fit is essential to fully enjoying all the Selk'bag has to offer and for ensuring the safety of your child. A bag that is too large for your child can represent a tripping risk when your child attempts to walk in the bag.
Please note, that the sizing recommendations are meant for children of average weight as sizing is impacted by user weight. For example, a Selk'bag will fit a child of below average weight with a taller frame, similar to a child of average weight and a shorter frame. Likewise, a person of above average weight will require a bag meant for someone taller.

In-between sizes? Please first consider the weight recommendations in the previous paragraph. Second, please understand that a looser fit is better for more comfortable sleeping, while a tighter fit is better for mobility - but may restrict sleeping comfort if booties are left on.
We always recommend to size up if you are not completely sure. It's better to have a little bit more room while using your Selk'bag!
If you are between 5'5'' and 5'11'' this is your size. It can fit up to 6'1'' if you intend to use it without booties
